Everyone knows how to play checkers, right? We needed a game table for our new screened in porch so I decided that checkers would be great. I was going to paint a checkerboard on a round table top that I had but when I was shopping this weekend I saw the perfect checker board. I spotted it from the road. It was only $2.00. SCORE!
No need to take the time to paint one. I just got out my trusty liquid nails and an old table base that my friend Jen, from over at creating with the J's donated to me, and I went to town.
What do you think? Hubby and I played our first game the other night and I decided that I suck stink at checkers too! We had fun, even if I didn't win.
$2.00 checkerboad + free table base = FUN, FUN, FUN
