wooden tool box redo

I found this unfinished tool box a few months ago at the Salvation Army store for $3.99.  I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it but I knew it had potential.



I painted the entire tool box gray (sorry I didn't take a picture of it painted gray.)  I decided it looked a little boring so I got out my blue painters tape and made a white stripe in the middle. 


The finished product looks like this............


I'm thinking a silverware caddy for our 4th of July picnic/hubby's birthday party.  


I'm sure I will be using this for alot of different Holidays.

Great idea!Love painting the stripe in it too.That will come in handy.Lots of uses.
